General Introduction

This is the main directory page for the Los Angeles ACM Chapter Procedures handbook. The Handbook is organized into four main sections:

• Introduction to the Procedures Handbook (Section 1)
• Elected Officers (Section 10)
• Standing Committees (Section 50)
• Ad-hoc Committees (Section 80)

Each of the major sections 10, 50, and 80 has its own introduction. Within each of these major sections, there is a subsection containing the procedure for each office or committee. Each office or committee procedure describes a set of goals, and each goal is followed by the information necessary to accomplish that goal.

Although the number indices in the Table of Contents above are not exactly the same as the numbering of the actual documents, it nevertheless reflects the proper hierarchy of all sections and subsections.
